High Quality
Remanufactured Printer Cartridges
The majority of remanufactured toners are produced in
one of two ways. Either the toner is rebuilt with recycled
components or a hole is drilled in the toner which is
refilled and the hole re-plugged. Both of these methods
lead to poor quality prints and often excessive toner
leaking. This has resulted in a poor reputation for remanufactured
cartridges.
Our cartridges and consumables are completely remanufactured
to ISO 90011, DIN 338702 and ISO 140013 standards using
new parts including the drum, roller, chip, fuser and
blade. In fact, the only part re-used is the shell. Each
unit is tested and vacuum cleaned before reuse and when
completed they are sealed.
- ISO 9001 is an internationally-recognised standard
for quality management, ensuring that organisations have
proven processes in place to meet customer requirements.
- DIN 33870 is an internationally-recognised standard
covering the requirements and test for the preparation
of refilled toner modules for electro photographical printers,
copiers and facsimile machines.
- ISO 14001 is an internationally-recognised certificate
for evaluating how well an organisation manages its environmental
responsibilities.
Coverage and Ink Quality
Our cartridges will always equal, and will often exceed,
the page capacity of an OEM product thereby saving you
even more money. We can also supply high capacity cartridges
which will save you more money and reduce the frequency
of cartridge changes.
The pigmentation of the ink/toner has been tested to the
DIN 33870 benchmark standards and is certified to equal
or exceed the quality of the OEM product. This DIN standard
specifies levels for both toner adhesion and blackness.
Our Guarantee
As detailed above, all our cartridges are re-manufactured
under ISO quality-controlled conditions and contain new
and recycled components. Using these products in your
printer will not invalidate the warranty.
The following is taken from Hewlett-Packard's website:
"Non-HP print cartridges include new, re-manufactured,
and refilled print cartridges from other vendors. The
use of non-HP print cartridges does not affect either
the warranty or any maintenance contract purchased from
Hewlett-Packard. However, if an HP LaserJet printer failure
or printer damage is found to be directly attributed to
the use of any non-HP product, the repair will not be
covered under the warranty or HP maintenance contract.
In such cases, standard time and materials charges will
be applied to repair the printer"
.
To this end we are please to offer the following
guarantee:
- The specification of our products will equal or exceed
that of the original equipment manufacturer.
- Our products have been tested and are free from defects.
In the unlikely event that a cartridge is found to be
defective it will be replaced or the full purchase cost
will be refunded.
- Our products will not cause damage, abnormal wear or
deterioration to the printer. In the unlikely event that
a product is suspected of causing damage to the printer
we will send a technician to examine the printer at our
cost. If at this point it is agreed that our product is
at fault we will pay for the repair of the printer. If
the printer is deemed to be irreparable we will replace
the printer with the same model or one of the same specification,
if the model is discontinued.
Obviously we have to stipulate a few conditions
with our guarantee, in the same way that original equipment
manufacturers do.
- Printers must be used within the manufacturer's
recommendations and guidelines including duty cycle, print
volumes and paper.
- Printers must be maintained in good condition.
- Cartridges must only be used in the printers for
which they were designed.
- Printworks Direct must be informed of the issue
before any action is taken.
- Liability is limited to replacement or reimbursement
for the product and repair or replacement of the printer,
as stated above, and excludes any consequential loss,
however so arising.
